Savings
4.15% APY on every dollar
No minimum, no monthly fee, and interest that compounds daily. The rate applies to your first dollar and your hundred-thousandth alike.
A savings account without the asterisks
One rate, paid to everyone, with nothing to qualify for and nothing to maintain.
One rate, no tiers
4.15% APY whether you hold $50 or $50,000. There is no introductory period that quietly expires.
Compounds daily
Interest is calculated on your end-of-day balance and credited monthly, so yesterday's interest earns today.
No monthly fee
Nothing is deducted, ever. Your balance only moves when you move it or when interest is paid in.
Money stays reachable
Transfer to your Summit checking instantly and at no cost, day or night. This is not money you have to lock away.
Federally insured
NCUA insurance covers at least $250,000 per depositor, backed by the full faith and credit of the United States.
Open as many as you need
Name a separate account for each goal, from an emergency fund to a roof replacement, at no extra cost.
What 4.15% actually earns
Interest on a steady balance held for a full year, with nothing added or withdrawn.

Emergency fund
Three months of expenses, built quietly
Most households do best by setting a target equal to three months of essential spending, then automating a transfer on payday and forgetting about it. At 4.15%, the account contributes meaningfully to the goal on its own.
Common questions
Is 4.15% an introductory rate?
No. It is the standard rate on the account, paid on every balance. It can change as market rates change, but it does not step down after a promotional window.
How often can I withdraw?
As often as you like. Federal transfer limits on savings accounts were suspended in 2020, and Summit does not impose its own cap or per-withdrawal fee.
When is interest credited?
Interest accrues on your daily balance and is credited on the last calendar day of each month. You will see it as a single deposit line on your statement.
How is this different from a Money Market account?
High-Yield Savings pays one flat rate with no minimum. Money Market uses tiers that start at $2,500 and adds limited check writing, which suits larger balances that need occasional check access.
Is my money insured above $250,000?
Coverage is at least $250,000 per depositor, per ownership category. Adding a joint owner or a payable-on-death beneficiary raises the insured total, and an advisor can structure it with you.
Do I need a Summit checking account too?
No. You can hold savings on its own and link an external bank for transfers, though pairing it with Summit checking makes transfers instant instead of taking a business day.
