Four members, four different years
A first house, a second location, a truck loan that finally made sense, and a semester that nearly did not happen. Names and details are shared with permission.

First-time homebuyer
Nadia bought at 6.375% and 5% down
Nadia Amrani, a respiratory therapist, had been renting for nine years and had been told twice by other lenders that she needed 20% down. She had $19,000 saved and a 712 credit score.
Her Summit advisor put her into a 30-year fixed at 6.375% APR with 5% down and no private mortgage insurance through our first-time buyer program. Closing took 27 days. The part she mentions most is that the same person answered the phone every time she called.

Small business owner
Gloria opened a second bakery
Gloria Sandoval ran one bakery for eleven years and wanted a second across town. Her business banking relationship at the time offered her a line of credit at a rate she describes, politely, as discouraging.
Summit financed the buildout with a business term loan and a $75,000 line of credit for working capital, and moved her merchant processing over at a rate that saved about $340 a month on card fees alone. The second location opened fourteen months ago and now employs nine people.

Veteran, auto refinance
Ray cut his truck payment by $124
Ray Okafor financed a truck at the dealership during a move after separating from service, at 11.4% APR on a 72-month term. He assumed he was stuck with it.
Refinancing with Summit at 4.09% APR dropped his payment by $124 a month and cut nearly $4,900 off the total interest, even after shortening the remaining term by eight months. The application took eleven minutes on his phone during a lunch break.

Student
Devon finished the semester
Devon Pryce was $2,800 short for spring tuition after his hours at work were cut. He is 20, has a thin credit file, and had never borrowed anything.
He received a $2,500 Skilled Trades Award from the Summit Foundation and covered the rest with a small personal loan at 8.99% APR that he has since paid off. He also opened a credit builder account, and his score has moved 71 points in eighteen months.
What these four have in common
Different lives, same three things.
A person, not a queue
Each of them worked with a named advisor who stayed with the file from application to close. Declined applications get a human review before the answer goes out.
Rates set for owners
There are no shareholders taking a cut, so pricing reflects what the loan costs us plus what the reserves need — and nothing beyond that.
A $5 share deposit
That is the entire entry requirement. It is an ownership stake, it stays yours, and it carries the same one vote as any other member's.
Rates current as of July 2026 and subject to change. Membership eligibility required. This is a demonstration website; rates, products, and figures shown are illustrative only.
Tell us how it went
If Summit helped with something that mattered, we would like to hear about it — and we will always ask before publishing a word.
