Calculators

Run the numbers before you decide

Six free calculators for the decisions members face most: a car, a house, a savings goal, a payoff date, a consolidation, and the honest question of what you can afford.

Every calculator on the site

Each one is prefilled with Summit's current published rates, and each one lets you override every figure.

Auto payment

Enter a price, a down payment, and a term to see the monthly payment and total interest. Prefilled at 4.09% APR for a new vehicle at 60 months.

Mortgage payment

Principal, interest, taxes, and insurance in one figure, with an amortization view. Prefilled at 6.375% APR on a 30-year fixed.

Savings goal

Name an amount and a date, and see the monthly deposit that gets you there. Prefilled at 4.15% APY on high-yield savings.

Loan payoff

See what an extra $50, $100, or $250 a month does to your payoff date and your total interest. Works for any fixed-rate loan you hold anywhere.

Debt consolidation

List up to six balances with their rates and compare the blended cost against a single personal loan from 8.99% APR.

Affordability

Work backward from income, debts, and a comfortable payment to a price range, using the same debt-to-income limits our underwriters apply.

Not sure which one to open

Two calculators can answer the same question from opposite directions. Start from what you already know.

You know the price

Use the auto payment or mortgage payment calculator. Both start from a purchase price and hand you a monthly figure, so you learn what a specific car or house would cost you.

You know the payment

Use affordability or savings goal. Both start from what you can comfortably put aside each month and tell you the price range or the timeline that fits it.

Rates current as of July 2026 and subject to change. Membership eligibility required. This is a demonstration website; rates, products, and figures shown are illustrative only.

Common questions

Is a calculator result an offer?

No. These are estimates using published rates. Your actual rate depends on credit history, term, collateral, and the loan program you qualify for.

Do I need to be a member or sign in?

Neither. The calculators are open to anyone, nothing you type is saved, and no email address is requested to see a result.

Does the mortgage calculator include taxes and insurance?

Yes. It estimates property taxes and homeowners insurance and shows them as separate lines, because a principal-and-interest-only figure understates the real payment by a wide margin.

Will using these affect my credit?

No. Nothing here pulls credit or creates an inquiry of any kind. A credit check happens only when you formally apply.

Can I use the payoff calculator on a loan from another lender?

Yes. Enter the balance, rate, and payment from any fixed-rate loan. Nothing has to be a Summit account for the math to work.

Where can I get help interpreting a result?

Any Summit member advisor will walk through your numbers with you at no charge, by phone, video, or at one of our 42 branches.

Start with a rough number

Two minutes with a calculator beats an afternoon of guessing, and it costs you nothing to find out.
