Common questions
Who speaks for Summit?
The communications office coordinates all media requests and will connect you with the right executive. Branch staff are asked to route inquiries rather than comment.
Can I get comment on a member's account?
No. We do not confirm, deny, or discuss any individual's relationship with the credit union, including whether someone is a member.
Are financial results public?
Yes. As a federally insured credit union, Summit files quarterly call reports with the NCUA that anyone can access, and the audited annual statement is published each spring.
Do you offer expert commentary?
Our lending, risk, and consumer finance leaders are available for background or on-record interviews about rates, household credit, and how cooperative institutions differ from banks.
How do I get on the release list?
Send your outlet and beat to the communications office and we will add you. Releases go out by email at 9 a.m. Eastern on the day of publication.
