Today's Auto Rates
Every auto rate, on one page
New, used, private party, refinance, and lease buyout rates across every term we offer. No teaser pricing and no footnote that undoes the headline.
How to read these rates
Every rate below already includes the automatic payment discount. Your actual rate depends on credit history, term, and the vehicle.
0.25% autopay discount
Set up automatic payments from a Summit checking or share account and the discount applies for the life of the loan.
No fees to originate
No application fee, no origination fee, and no prepayment penalty on any auto loan. You pay your state's lien recording fee and nothing else.
Rate holds for 45 days
Once you are approved, the quoted rate is locked for 45 days, which is long enough to shop without watching the market.
New and used vehicles
A new vehicle is a current or prior model year with under 7,500 miles. Used rates apply to model year 2019 and newer.
Private party, refinance, and lease buyout
These programs price off the used auto schedule with a small adjustment for the extra title work involved.

Common questions
Will I get the rate at the top of the table?
Our best rates go to members with strong credit histories on shorter terms. Roughly half of approved applicants receive the published rate; the rest are quoted within one to two points of it.
What is payment per $1,000?
It is the monthly payment for each $1,000 financed. Multiply it by your loan amount in thousands. A $25,000 loan at $18.46 per thousand is about $462 a month.
How often do these rates change?
We review auto rates monthly and adjust when the market moves meaningfully. An approved application locks your rate for 45 days regardless of what happens after.
What happens if I cancel automatic payments?
The 0.25% discount comes off and your rate rises by that amount going forward. Restarting automatic payments restores it the following cycle.
Do you finance motorcycles, boats, and RVs?
Yes, on a separate rate schedule with terms up to 180 months on larger recreational vehicles. Ask a member advisor for current pricing.
Why are your rates lower than a bank's?
Summit is member-owned and not-for-profit. Earnings that would go to shareholders at a bank come back to our 412,000 members as better rates and fewer fees.
